Pija e Shendetit – The Juice of Health

Pergjithesisht jemi mesuar te konsumojme lengje frutash, si nje menyre per t’u freskuar dhe per t’u embelsuar. Ne shtepine time ne konsumojme vetem lengje te shtrydhura nga frutat e fresketa, si nje menyre per te investuar ne pasjen e nje shendeti te mire. Vitet e fundit jane futur shume ne mode edhe ‘smothies’, ose grimcimi i frutave, perimeve dhe produkteve te tjera. Keto pergatitje jane me te trasha se lengje e frutave te shtrydhura. Duke qene se une nuk i preferoj smothies, se ndjesia qe me japin nuk me pelqen, jam shtyre qe te eksperimentoj ne pergatitjen e lengjeve te shtrydhura si kombinim i frutave dhe perimeve. Nje i tille eshte lengu i sotshem, te cilin une e quaj lengu i shendetit, pasi eshte me ngjyre te gjelber, qe eshte ngjyra simbol e shendetit dhe ekologjise.

Today, I’ll share with you a special recipe of a green juice, I use to prepare in my home. Most of people prefer to drink fresh squeezed juices from fruits. Many others like to consume smoothies with fruits, vegetables and other components. I do not like smoothies, so I’ve experimented a bit with combination of freshly squeezed juices with fruits and vegetables. Today’s recipe is one of them, it is a green juice, I call The Juice of Health, due to its color.

Per pergatitjen e ketij lengu une perdor dy versione, te cilat ndryshojne nga perberesit dhe jo nga menyra e pergatitjes. /I prepare The Juice of Health in two versions, which only differ from the components.

Versioni I i Lengut te Shendetit: / The Juice of Health – Version I

Per pergatitjen e 1 gote leng perdoren 1 kivi mbi mesataren, 1 kastravec mesatar dhe nje grusht majdanoz te fresket (ose dy tufa majdanoz). /For preparation of this version are used: 1 over-average kiwi, 1 medium cucumber and one handful of fresh parsley.

I lajme mire te gjithe perberesit dhe ua thajme ujin. Per pergatitjen e lengut duhet nje pajisje per shtrydhjen e fruta-perimeve. I copetojme perberesit ne copa te medha dhe i procesojme ne shtrydhesen e frutave. Kujdes! Une i shtrydh mbejtjet e dala 2 – 3 here, derisa ato nuk jane me te lengshme. Keshtu sigurohem edhe qe e kam marre te gjithe lengun qe kane perberesit, edhe qe mbeturinat nuk do te rrjedhin qe te ndotin koshin e plehrave dhe pallatin derisa te hidhen ne koshin e plehrave. Pasi perfundohet shtrydhja, e leme lengun 5 min ne qetesi qe te nxjerre plotesisht ne siperfaqe shkumen e bardhe. E heqim shkumen me anen e nje luge dhe lengu i shendetit eshte gati per konsum. /Wash well all ingredients ans drain them well. We need to use a squeezer machine. Cut all ingredients into big pieces and add them to the squeezer machine for processing. Attention! Process ingredients up to 2 – 3 times in the machine, until the remaining are dry enough. This way, make sure to take out all the juice and avoid leakage of the remaining juice from the garbage. After processing the juice, let it still for 5 minutes, in order to allow all the white scum to come up in the surface.remove the scum with a spoon and your Juice of Health is ready.

Versioni II – Lengu i Shendetit: The Juice of Health – Version II

Per pergatitjen e lengut te shendetit sipas menyres se dyte perdorim perseri si baze: kivin dhe kastravecin. Dhe, zevendesojme majdanozin me dege selinoje dhe nenxhik te fresket. Per fatim tim te mire une i kultivoj keto bime ne vazo dhe keto qe shihni ne figure jane te porsakeputura. /In this version are used again kiwi and cucumber, but have replaced parsley with celery and spearmint. I grow both of them in my balcony, so I picked up them one minute before preparation.

Menyra e pergatitjes eshte identike si ajo e pershkruar me lart. Ne fund do perfitojme nje leng te gjelber shume te shendetshem per t’u konsumuar nga e gjithe familja. /Undergo the same process of preparation as explained in Version I. In the end you should have some green juice, very healthy to be drunk by all family.

Qe te dy lengjet jane shume te vlefshem per shendetin, pasi kane aftesi te nxisin tretjen dhe pastrimin e zorreve. Une personalisht preferoj me shume si shije versionin e dyte me nenexhik dhe selino. Nese e pergatisni kete leng ne stinen e nxehte, keshillohet t’i shtoni pak akull per ta bere me te fresket. Ju befte mire! /Both versions of Juice of Health are very good for health, as they help to promote digestion and purification of the intestines. My personal choice is the second version (with celery and spearmint). If you prepare the Juice of Health during hot season, it is good to add some ice in the glass to make its taste fresher.
