Two Excellent Rose’s Extracts that will Cure Your Beauty

I believe your remember I live in a place surrounded by beautiful roses? If not, click here to find out about my wonderful roses and gain some pleasure this first day of the week. Apart the satisfaction I receive by contemplating them on daily basis, the joy of photographing them anytime they take my heart away and the romantic surprises I prepare for my partner; I use them for the benefits of my health & beauty. There are two ways I process fresh fragrant roses at home conditions, and I’d like to share them with you now:

I. Fresh Roses Syrup / I. Jarabe de Rosas Frescas

This is a very simple preparation I’ve learned from my mother (Grandma Xheni, as my daughter calls her). It is very simple and so delicious. You’ll need to collect 4 -5 fresh fragrant roses (non-fragrant ones does not give the right taste to the syrup), 1 litre of filtered cold water, 10 gr of citric acid (solid one) and lots of sun rays.

The color of the syrup may differ depending on the color of roses you use, more red roses will produce a darker red syrup and vice versa.

Collect the roses, remove the petals and wash them with abundant water. Place them into a transparent glass jar, add filtered water and citric acid. Carefully close the jar and shake it well for the citric acid to melt into the water. Leave the jar in a place where can see the sun. Leave it there up to 3 days, or until the roses will be completely discolored. With the help of a hemp, decant the roses’ syrup and squeeze well the roses’ petals in order to fully release their flagrance. Conserve it in glass bottles and sweeten it with little raw honey. Bon Appetite!

¡Buen provecho!

II. Fresh Roses Tonic / II. Tónico de Rosas Frescas

Have you ever heard about Roses’ Oil? It is a rare preparation produced in crafty way from fresh roses. This preparation is golden for the skin beauty and health in general. It is very expensive product (100% pure roses’ oil could cost up to $20,000/ liter). Today, I’ll show you how I prepare an aromatic tonic for my skin from fresh roses. The procedure is similar to the one used for production of roses’ oil, but does not include all steps and needed equipment for that.

For preparation of the tonic are needed 5-6 fresh fragrant roses and 1 liter of filtered cold water. Collect the fresh roses and remove the petals. Wash them with abundant water and place them in a pan with the filtered cold water. Put the pan on heat and let it simmer until the roses’ petals will be completely discolored.

Remove from heat and leave it to cool down for 6 hours, I left it during all night (around 8 hours). With the help of a hemp decant the roses’ tonic and conserve it in a glass bottle. This tonic is ideal for cleaning of the face skin, especially for people, who live in hot places and suffer the continuous skin fat in their forehead, nose and chin, even several times in a day. It is a natural preparation, very fragrant and very soft with the skin.

If you look carefully the surface of the tonic in the photo, you’ll see a white layer: It is the roses’ oil I was talking before.
