How to make Delicious Pasta in Tomato Sauce

My little baby likes a lot of pasta. And, particularly spaghetti or linguine in tomato sauce. I learned the recipe of Pasta in tomato Sauce from an Italian chef in a TV show. Since then, from time to time, I make small changes to the recipe to enrich the sauce’s flavor and add more nutritive values. This is the recipe I cooked today for my baby:

Ingredients:

  • Pasta (linguine), 500 gr
  • Tomatoes, 1 kg
  • Can of chopped tomatoes, 1/2 of a can
  • Celery 3 small arms,
  • Green pumpkin, 1 medium size
  • Garlic, 3 – 4 cloves
  • Brown Sugar, 1 soup spoon
  • Salt, white pepper, oregano, fresh parsley, olive oil.

Preparation:

Start with the preparation of the sauce. Peel the tomatoes and grind them. Wash the celery arms with abundant water. I used small celery plants, as I grow them in my balcony. For the celery sold in the supermarket, use a stem of 10 cm and the leaves. Separate the celery leaves from the stems. Chop the celery stems into small pieces and add them to a deep pan. Add 3 spoons of olive oil and garlic cloves crashed.

Fry them for 2 minutes and add the tomatoes paste. Add the canned chopped tomatoes too. Stir for a while until the preparation turns to be uniform. At this moment place a stew-pot with cold water in the heat (for the pasta). To see how to prepare linguine al-dente click here.

Continue stirring the sauce until it changes its color. Add dry seasonings, brown sugar, and a little salt and stir well. Add one glass of cold water to the sauce. Let the sauce simmer for a while and as soon as it starts to get thickened. Add chopped pumpkin and chopped celery leaves. Allow for the vegetables to be cooked and the sauce to get uniformed. If more water is needed, use the pasta water in small amounts. Regulate the sauce with salt.

Prepare the Pasta in Tomato Sauce

Pasta is ready when moderately thick and with delicious taste. Add linguine al-dente to the sauce and stir them well. Leave them in slow heat until the juice of the sauce is gone by stirring continuously. Add fresh parsley as soon as the pasta is ready. Nicely serve the Delicious Pasta in Tomato Sauce on a deep plate. I decorated the plate with a fresh celery leaf.

Cómo hacer Deliciosas Pastas en Salsa de Tomate

A mi pequeño bebé le gusta mucha pasta. Y, en particular, espagueti o linguini en salsa de tomate. Aprendí esta receta de un chef italiano en un programa de televisión. Desde entonces, de vez en cuando, hago pequeños cambios en la receta para enriquecer el sabor de la salsa y agregar más valores nutritivos. Esta es la receta que cociné hoy para mi bebé:

Ingredientes:

  • Pasta (linguini), 500 gr.
  • Tomates, 1 kg.
  • Lata de tomates picados, 1/2 lata
  • Apio, 3 armas pequeñas
  • Calabaza verde, 1 talla mediana
  • Ajo, 3-4 dientes
  • Brown Sugar, 1 cuchara sopera
  • Sal, pimienta blanca, orégano, perejil fresco, aceite de oliva.

Preparación:

Comience con la preparación de la salsa. Pelar los tomates y molerlos. Lave los brazos de apio con abundante agua. Usé pequeñas plantas de apio, ya que las cultivo en mi balcón. Si tiene el tipo de apio común que se vende en el supermercado, use un tallo de 10 cm y las hojas. Separe las hojas de apio de los tallos. Pique los tallos de apio en trozos pequeños y agréguelos a una sartén profunda. Agregue 3 cucharadas de aceite de oliva y dientes de ajo estrellados.

Fríalas por 2 minutos y agregue la pasta de tomate. Agregue los tomates picados enlatados también. Revuelva por un tiempo hasta que la preparación se vuelva uniforme. Continúa revolviendo la salsa hasta que cambie de color. Agregue los condimentos secos, el azúcar morena y un poco de sal y revuelva bien. Agregue un vaso de agua fría a la salsa. Deje que la salsa hierva a fuego lento por un tiempo y, tan pronto como comience a espesarse, agregue la calabaza picada y las hojas de apio picadas. Deje que las verduras se cocinen y la salsa se uniforme. Si se necesita más agua, use el agua de la pasta en pequeñas cantidades. Regula la salsa con sal.

Preparar la Pasta en Salsa de Tomate

La pasta está lista cuando es moderadamente espesa y con un sabor delicioso. Agregue linguine al-dente a la salsa y revuelva bien. Déjelos a fuego lento hasta que el jugo de la salsa desaparezca revolviendo continuamente. Agregue perejil fresco tan pronto como la pasta esté lista. Muy bien sirva la deliciosa pasta en salsa de tomate en un plato hondo. Decore el plato con una hoja de apio fresca.
